Eagle Dance
Gliding on silent silken roads of air
You soar,
Ascending towards the sun,
Golden Home of Light,
Where you greet Helios and Vesta,
Communing for a while,
Before returning in graceful majesty
To the tree-tops and cliffs
Where you dwell amidst men
Who have taken so much from you.
Oh snowy-headed skywalker,
Connecting Heaven and Earth,
Teach me how to walk in both worlds
To achieve that which seems impossible,
And to soar to heights never dreamed of.
